He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Sklany Fenn and Steven Sklany; his daughter Cindy Sklany Ball; his granddaughter Leanna Nicole McKee; and his sister Sharon Sklany Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Martha Day Sklany; his daughter Valerie Sklany Goodman of Waterloo; his grandson Shane McKee of Thomasville; his brothers-in-law, Charles Day of Marietta and Larry Fletcher of Donaldsonville; and his pets, Bitsy, Piper and Lucy. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
