It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Robert Buckley Jr. of Tifton, Georgia, born in Athens, Georgia, who passed away on August 18, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Judge Richard Robert "Dick" Buckley, Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Myra Rutland Buckley; his son Richard "Rob"; his wife Abby of Tifton; his grandchildren, Richard "Buck" Robert Buckley IV, Riley Buckley and Hattie Buckley; his sisters, Kris Beyers (Jim) of Tifton, Lisa Janelle (Buster), Susan Goldman (Lex) of Athens and Jennifer McCall (Walter) of Tifton; and his friend Venisha Johnson Buckley of Tifton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
