She was predeceased by: her parents, C. M. Nevil and Antonette McCorkle Nevil; her husband James Moultrie Tidwell, Jr.; and her brothers, Tony Marlin Nevil and Charles Mack Nevil.

She is survived by: her children, James Tidwell III of Tifton and Beth; her son-in-law Nick Alberson of Sycamore; her grandchildren, Nicole, Jeremy Poole, Shelby Alberson and Jesse Hardy; and her great grandchildren, Lani Poole, Luci Poole, Loretta Poole, Fallon Hardy and Abel Hardy.
