He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Pope and Wynelle Taylor Pope. He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Brianne Hester of Tifton; his fiancée Susan Davis-Kilgore; and his sister Denise Pope Dixon (Tim Collins).
