He is survived by: his fiancée Iris Tanner Sears of Tifton; his sons, Kevin Barringer (Julie Sumner) of Tifton, Ryan Giddens of Quitman, Blane Barringer of North Carolina and Trae Barringer of Adel; his sister Summer B. Walker (Brad) of Texas; and his nieces, Sierra Staley and Saliese Staley.
