She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayman Whitley and Sophrona Elizabeth Roberts Whitley; her husband Louis Watson, Jr.; her daughter Sandra Gail Faaborg; her granddaughter Lakin Watson; and her daughter-in-law Deloris Watson.
She is survived by: her children, Jefferson Jet Watson of Abbeville, Wayman Watson of Tifton, Connie Elizabeth Watson Ledlow of Tifton and William Luther Watson of Albany; and her aunt Betsey Lou Sumner. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren.
