It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Monte Gene Ashcraft Jr. of Thomson, Georgia, born in Augusta, Georgia, who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Monte G. Ashcraft, Sr. and Patricia Perry Ashcraft; and his granddaughter Adalyn Hobbs. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Ashcraft; his children, Kyle Dillon, Matt Dillon (Courtney), Jordan Hobbs (Kaylee) and Whitney Ashcraft; his grandchildren, Myles Price Landon Dillon, Aidan Dillon, Granger Stewart, Laken Dillon and Kendall Leatherman; and his close friend Ed Rogers.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Beggs Funeral Home (799 Cobbham Rd, Thomson, GA 30824-4058). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Union Baptist Church (2743 Cedar Rock Rd, Thomson, GA 30824). A burial was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at the Savannah Valley Memorial Gardens (2235 Washington Rd, Thomson, GA 30824).
