He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Lee Brown and Jewell Inez Brown; and his siblings, Richard, Earl, Junior Brown, Geraldine Watson, Dorothy Buchanan and Barbara Jean Lopez.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Bowden Brown of Thomaston; and his children, Stacey Michelle Brown (Jeff Rowland) of Byron, Kristina "Brooke" Brown of Thomaston and Christopher Brown (Johnel) of Perry. He is also survived by five grandchildren.
