It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Harriet Crook of Tallapoosa, Georgia, born in Atlanta, Georgia, who passed away on April 24, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Tommey and Sarah Tommey; her daughter Sarah Elizabeth Griffith; her brothers, Sonny Tommey and Butch Tommey; and her half-sister Marie Tommey.

She is survived by: her children, Michael Lewis Crook, Debra Crook of Kentucky and Judy Grommet of Tallapoosa, Georgia; and her pet Monster. She is also survived by six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
