He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Waters and Madge Waters; his wife Shirley Burke Waters; his siblings, Bernice W. Griner and Julian C. Waters; and his daughter-in-law Marie Waters.
He is survived by: his family Ronnie; his sons, Troy (Peggy Waters), Chris (Kristal Waters) and Darrick Waters; his sister Sarah; his brother-in-law Rupert Aaron; his grandchildren, Ansley (Jaycob Schweiger), Addyson Waters and Aidan Waters; his stepgrandchildren, Hannah Sammons (Brooks), Billy Lariscy III (Hannah), Elizabeth Newsome, Amber Shaw and Paige Hall; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Abigail Sammons, Billy Lariscy IV, Brookes Newsome, Layla Newsome, Briley Gacke and Bryatt Gacke; his niece Kay Strickland; and his friend Minnie Lee Benton.
