It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Ellery Mock of Sylvania, Georgia, born in Perkins, Georgia, who passed away on September 24, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lois Madeline Saxon and James Alvin Mock; her son Thomas Richard Lovett; and her siblings, Clarrence Mock and Mabelene Bland.
She is survived by: her sons, Earl Burke Jr. (Wendy) of Waynesboro and Ronnie Arthur (Becky) of Statesboro; her sister Joyce Bland of Macon; and her grandchildren, Brittany Phillips (Jeffery) of Waynesboro, Ben Burke of Waynesboro and Daniel Burke (Amber) of Sylvania. She is also survived by 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Crowe Fields Funeral Home, Inc. (364 E Winthrope Ave, Millen, GA 30442). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Oak Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (3233 Oak Hill Church Rd, Millen, GA 30442).
