It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Elaine Claxton of Swainsboro, Georgia, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie James Claxton and Mildred Overstreet Claxton; and her siblings, Eddie Gene Claxton (Elaine) of Nevils, Franklin Claxton and Geraldine Claxton.
She is survived by: her sons, Zachary Womack of Swainsboro and Christopher Womack of Swainsboro; and her siblings, John Claxton (Brenda) of Swainsboro, Bobby Claxton (Melissa) of Swainsboro, Larry Claxton of Swainsboro and Patsy Fields of Swainsboro. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and extended family.
