She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Henry Lockhart, Sr. and Mary Ellen Sheram Lockhart; her husband DeSaussure Dugas "Dess" Smith III of Swainsboro; her children, Mary Ellen Smith of Swainsboro, Anna Kate Smith Willoughby (Kenneth) of Canoochee, DeSaussure Dugas "Dessie" Smith IV (Terri) of Swainsboro and Richard Torpin Smith, II (Kaytee) of Garner, N. C.; her grandchildren, Nicole Prine (Jacob), Jordan Hooks (Samantha), Sally Mathews (Pratt), Smith Willoughby, Wessyn Willoughby and Torpin Smith; and her great grandchildren, Hadley Prine, Joe Prine, Ansley Prine, Hollis Brannen, Harden Hooks, Hudson Mathews and Sarah Mathews. She was also cherished by many brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins friends.
