She was predeceased by: her parents, E. W. "Cat" Snellgrove, Sr. and Rosa Mae Brown Snellgrove; her husband Jesse L. "Dick" Derriso, Jr.; her siblings, E. W. "Buck" Snellgrove, Jr., Luther Elvis Snellgrove, William Lovette Snellgrove (Elma Snellgrove), Estelle McKay, Thelma Shehan and Atha Bearden (Van Snellgrove Gay); and her son-in-law Vaughn Riner.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Derriso (Sue) of Sylvania and Marsha Derriso Riner of Swainsboro; and her grandchildren, Angela Hooks (Todd) of Nunez, Jay Derriso (Tiffany) of Sylvania and Dent Derriso of Sylvania. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
