Meeks of Swainsboro, Georgia, born in Kite, Georgia, who passed away on February 10, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sidney Meeks and Molly Flanders Meeks; his wife Bobbie Jean Smith Meeks of Swainsboro; his son Darrell Meeks; and his siblings, James Meeks, Weldon Meeks, Clifford Meeks and Willie T. Durden.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Ripperger (Dwayne Sumner) of Adrian, Dana Stanford (Gary) of Ty Ty and Carla Johnson (Craig) of Adrian; his siblings, Ruth Rountree of Kite and George A. Meeks of Kite; his grandchildren, Matthew Ripperger (Kate Jackson), Kayla Sumner (Larry) and Justin Johnson (Sandy); and his great grandchildren, Autumn Scott, Nollan Scott, Cole Sumner, Weston Johnson, Ethan Johnson and Ava Johnson.
