She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Brown and Bertie Lee Wimberly Brown; her husband John Richard Chavis; her daughter Loretta Conley Sanchez; her brothers, Pete Brown, Walter Brown, Donnie Brown and Clarence Brown, Jr.; and her great grandchild Adilynn Carter.
She is survived by: her daughters, Lisa Hooks (Steve) of Swainsboro, Roxanne Gay (Jay) of Norristown and Becky Fletcher (Kris) of Rentz; her siblings, Janice Mosley (Dan), Franklin Brown (Renee) of Midville and Keith Brown (Juanita) of Swainsboro; her grandchildren, Darrell Martin, Jr., Amber Gay, Brandon Gay (Brooke), Wesley Carter (Jessica), Kelsey Giles (Matt), Carlos Conley, Megan Salinas-Conley, Jayson Gay and Jace Gay; and her great grandchildren, Kingston Gay, Lakelynn Gay and Raelynn Carter. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
