Gene Fields Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Fields of Swainsboro, Georgia, who passed away on June 21, 2022 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Fields and Birty Atkinson Fields; his siblings, Doyle Fields, Elton Fields, Louise Meyers, Esther Trammell and Maude Strange; and his son-in-law David Bertoch.
He is survived by: his wife Patsy Claxton Fields of Swainsboro; his daughters, Karen Curl (Anthony), Lisa Bertoch and Jennifer Fields; his grandchildren, Brandon Fields (Amy) and Madison Bray (Ian); and his great grandchild Eason David Fields. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Gideons International or First Baptist Church of Swainsboro Missions.
