He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Archer and Lora Dickerson Archer; his wife Yvonne Henry Archer; and his siblings, Chancey Archer, Bill Archer, J. B. Archer, Sammy Archer, Ruby Roberts, Annie Bell Lockhart, Bonnie Lou Johnson, Sallie Mae Woods and Kate Terry.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Archer (Karson) of Sevierville, TN and Gayle Archer Lee (Jim); and his sister Kathy Archer Bracewell (John) of Wears Valley, TN. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews.
