She is survived by: her husband Bill Sumner; her daughter Debora Sumner Mulling of Adrian, GA; her grandsons, Isaac J. Mulling, Jr. of Adrian, GA and William G. Bullard of Adrian, GA; and her siblings, Dock Garland Claxton (Shirley) of Swainsboro and Carolyn Claxton Kirby (late Charles) of Warner Robins.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in memory of Frances Claxton Sumner.
