He was predeceased by: his parents, Ranzie Turner Morris and Sudie Coleman Morris; his wife Julia Mae Wells Morris; his sons, David Durden and Wendell Durden; and his siblings, Christine Morris, Matalice Kelly and Eugene Morris.
He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Zebe Durden Henry (Cooper); his grandchildren, Rebecca Ann Carreon (Joseph), John David Durden (Jeana) and Dustin Durden (Sherrie); his great grandchildren, David Durden II, Zoe Durden, Evan Durden, Daniel Durden, Abigail Durden, Mary Katherine Durden and Samuel Durden; and his great great grandchild Adler Hickman.
