She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny L. Amerson and Mamie Hammock Amerson; her husband Talmadge "Bum" Youmans; and her siblings, Grace Hooks, Louise Youmans and Don Amerson.

She is survived by: her children, Diane Carter (Mike) of Cobbtown, GA. and Roger K. Youmans (Pam) of Savannah, GA.; her sister-in-law Judy Amerson of Garden City, GA.; and her grandchildren, Dia Fennell (John), Michael Carter (Stephanie), Wade Youmans (Ashley) and Seth Youmans (Maggie). She is also survived by Seven Great-Grandchildren, Nieces, nephews, and extended family.
