He is survived by: his parents, James Wesley Ellis Jr. and Billie Jean Sammons Ellis; his significant other Glynnell Ellis; his children, Stacey Ellis Hodges (Gregory) and James Wesley Ellis III (Monica); his grandchildren, Ellen Grace Hodges, Andrew Davis Hodges, Asher Jacob Ellis, James Ryland Ellis and Camden Grant Ellis; his sisters, Karen Ellis Black and Kristi Ellis Cohron; his parents-in-law, Bobby and Marie Bankston; his siblings-in-law, Gene and Ardyth Bankston; his nieces, Brooke Ellis Gatlin (James), Tara Keltner (Jason), Sheyanne Navarro (Scott), Caroline Cohron and Taylor Elizabeth Cohron; his nephew Trey Ellis Cohron; his great-niece Ivie Ellis Gatlin; his great-nephew Tyler Gregory Gatlin; his nieces and nephews, Jason, Meredith Bankston, Daren and Shelley Knarich; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Eden Bankston, Elijah Bankston, Easton Bankston and Collin Knarich. He is also survived by extended family and such dear and close friends.
