He is survived by: his wife Laurys Franklin Young of Sumner; and his children, Roy James Young (Jeanine) of Moultrie, Susan Wilson (Alan) of Savannah and Terry Alexander Young of Pelham. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
