He was predeceased by: his parents, Grady Maddox and Mae Brock Maddox; his siblings, Avery, Herman, Larry Maddox, Avis Jarrard, Loyce Bagley and Joyce Bagley; and his son Kerry Maddox.
He is survived by: his wife Violet Mills Maddox of Sugar Hill, GA; his son Kevin Maddox of Sugar Hill, GA; and his siblings, Janice Maddox Williams of Danielsville, GA and Lawrence Maddox of Flowery Branch, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In Lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to Masonic Children Home in Macon, GA or to the Shriners Children Hospital in memory of J.W. Maddox.
