It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Joe Sosebee of Sugar Hill, Georgia, born in Young Harris, Georgia, who passed away on December 21, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Sosebee and Elennor Sosebee; and his siblings, Jerry Sosebee, Don (Amanda Sosebee) and Edith Hunter.

He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Price Sosebee of Sugar Hill, GA; his son Zach Sosebee (Heather) of Sugar Hill, GA; his grandsons, Jackson Sosebee and Seth Sosebee; his siblings, Fred Sosebee (Carolyn) of Gainesville, GA, George Sosebee (Wanda) of Young Harris, GA, Watson Stephens (Opalene) and Jean Sosebee Thomas of Young Harris, GA; his uncle Allen Sosebee; and his siblings-in-law, Barbara Price Williams of Chamblee, GA, Ruth Jane Price of Buford, GA, Betty and Earl Hunter of Lilburn, GA. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
