He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Collins and Drew-Willie Cheek Collins; his stepbrother Deputy Ronald Cheek; and his grandson Charles Michael Gogan. He is survived by: his wife Elnora "Doodle" Collins; his daughters, Lynn Gogan (Robert) of Calhoun, GA and Laura Dowdy (Steve) of Dawsonville, GA; his brother Michael Collins of Conyers, GA.; and his great great grandchildren, Jessica, Caden, Gracie, Leighton, Samuel, Sébastien and Niko. He is also survived by Six Grandchildren, Six Great Grandchildren, and two Great Great Grandchildren, many Nieces and Nephews.
