We are sad to announce that on July 11, 2022, at the age of 98, Thena H. Gilbert of Stockbridge, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Herbert Hood and Agnes Wallace Hood; her husband Robert Nathaniel Gilbert; and her daughter Robin Gilbert Ellison. She is survived by: her daughters, Shayne Gilbert Goodrum of Durham, NC and Melissa Gilbert Meadows (Eugene) of Stockbridge, GA; her grandchildren, Andrea Faith Goodrum (Adam), Megan Lynn Goodrum (Trevor), Joel Robert Ellison (Sheena), Rachel Elaine Meadows and Tabitha Meadows Kastor (Derek); and her great grandchildren, Cedar Kalia Kayrum, Loic Prudner, Korvin Michael Goodrum and Lyra Josephine Goodrum.
Thena supported the Mustard Seed Communities (https://www.mustardseed.com) and contributions to their work would be welcomed in her memory.
