He was predeceased by: his parents, James William Barrett, Sr. and Geneva Pauline Hope Barrett; and his sister-in-law Deborah Jones Barrett. He is survived by: his daughter Brook Olinger (Adam); his grandson Luke Olinger; and his siblings, Karen Barrett, Pam Anders (Jerry Graves) and James "Jimmy" William Barrett, Jr.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
