He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Jr. Pearson and Archie Pearson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Sugar" Pearson; his children, Jay Pearson (Pat), Todd Pearson (Christina), Paige Saunders (Kenny), Donna Simmons (Matt), Wanda Chapman (Butch) and Rhonda "Buddy Buddy" Phillips; and his sisters, June Davis (Jack), Pat Holloway and Claire Miller (Roy). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and beloved family members.
