She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Helbley and Ruth Thompson Helbley; her sister Beverly Helbley; her husband William R. Boggs, Sr.; her son William R. Boggs, Jr.; and her daughter-in-law Patricia Boggs.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Boggs (Lisa) of Hampton, Sandra Cloninger (Toney) of Dallas, Karen Fleury (Darryl) of McDonough and Edna Rogers (Kelly) of Sharpsburg, Georgia. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
