He is survived by: his daughter Patia Connell of Stockbridge; his siblings, Marilyn Shields of Griffin and Dr. Eugene Dailey (Sara) of McDonough; his granddaughters, Kelley Crum, Dena Breese and Leah Connell; his great grandchildren, Katie Bowles and Rylee Breese; and his great great grandchildren, Aubrey Bowles and Kameron Bowles. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
