We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2024, at the age of 79, Troy Alvin Hendrix Sr. of Statesboro, Georgia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Tom Hendrix; his stepfather Al Parrish; his parents-in-law, William and Myrtle Shearer; and his siblings-in-law, Jackie Hendrix, Henry Marle, William "Billy" Shearer and Buddy Johns.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Margerat "Peggy" Hendrix; his siblings, Ronny, Ricky Hendrix (Mona) and Gail Crowley (Tom); his sisters-in-law, Jackie Marle and Joyce Johns; his children, Jody Upchurch (John), Troy Hendrix, Jr. (Catherine) and Jennifer Greene (Matt); and his grandchildren, Austin Hendrix, Nicholas Upchurch (Avery), Taylor Upchurch, Cate McCollum (Drew) and Alison Greene.
