She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Michael Brown; her son Michael "Scott" Brown; her parents, Leveter Oglesby and Charles Oglesby; her brothers, Winder Oglesby and Ronald Oglesby; her mother-in-law Wilma Brown; her daughters, Jessica Brown (Eric) and Kimberly Brown (Ashlyn); her grandchildren, Kassidy Smith (Bobby) and Scott Mika; her daughter EmeryRae Roper; her sister-in-law Kathleen Brown; and her siblings, Charles Oglesby (Nora), Darryl Oglesby, Greg Oglesby (Beth), Mike Oglesby (Cindy) and Sheryl Hagan (Harry). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Sonia Oglesby Brown, age 65 of Statesboro, GA, was called home to be with Jesus, November 2, 2023, after years of battling early onset Alzheimer's Disease.
