He is survived by: his wife Sandra Sparks New (Sandy) of Statesboro, GA; his children, Karen Larsen (Larry) of Peabody, KS, Kim Sample (Darin) of Alta Vista, KS and Duane Davis Jr. (Kathleen) of Statesboro, GA; and his sister Judy Cullup (Dean) of Albany, CA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, brother-in-law, Coach Mike Sparks; nieces, nephews and also cousins.
