He was predeceased by: his father William James Hendley. He is survived by: his mother Nell J. Hendley of Dublin, GA; his children, Ashley McBride of Metter, GA, James Quinton Hendley of Statesboro, GA, Quintia Gregory of Louisiana, Pedeatha Lonon of Pembroke, GA, Lisa Goodman of Philadelphia, PA, Vontreasa Hendley Williams of Tampa, FL, Chadrick Meridy of Phoenix City, AL and Benjamin Jackson of Statesboro, GA; and his sisters, Cynthia Smith of Killen, TX and Marilyn Walker of Gulfport, MS. He is also survived by several grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends.
