It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jackson Edward Brinson of Statesboro, Georgia, born in Swainsboro, Georgia, who passed away on February 26, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace Brinson and Retta White Brinson; and his brother-in-law William Harron. He is survived by: his wife Madge; his daughter Dena Waters; his grandsons, Derek Waters and Justin; his sister Margie Oglesby of Statesboro; his siblings-in-law, Gary, Kay Harron of Statesboro, Theresa and Lonnie Sikes of Springfield; and his pet Lulu. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
