He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin Strickland and Amanda Pearl Garner Strickland. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Forbes Strickland; his children, Billy (Normi Strickland), Harriett Hodges and Matthew (Kerry Hendrix); and his brothers, Esco Strickland, Frankie Strickland and Jack Strickland. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
