She was predeceased by: her parents, Rev. Ernest Willard Ashmore and Ruby Boone Ashmore; her husband Foy Brown; her son Victor Brown; her brother Harold Ashmore; and her brother-in-law Rev. Elvis Hester.
She is survived by: her son Stephen Brown (Kim) of Claxton; her granddaughters, April Brown of Statesboro, Lynn Mosley of Glennville and Emily Rich of Claxton; her great grandchildren, Abby Kersey (Leah) of Statesboro, Nikki Kerr (Dylan) of Glennville, Jonathon Neal, Joshua Neal of Metter, Zachery Davis of Statesboro and Logan Hendrix (Gisell) of Glennville; her sisters, Bobbie Thornton (Wayne) of Jacksonville Fl, Emily and Rita Hester of Orlando Fl; and her great great grandchildren, Willow Neal and Lakelyn Hendrix. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
