He was predeceased by: his son-in-law David Shuman; and his grandson Matthew Ford. He is survived by: his wife Evon Fail Collins of Ellabell; his children, Patrina Collins Shuman of Eden, Darwin Franklin Collins, Jr. (Jamie), Diana Lynn Ford (Eddie) and Vernon Stacey Collins (Angela); his grandchildren, Britany Smith, Adam, Catlyn Shuman, Racqel Collins, Darwin Franklin Collins, III, Cyndilee, Kirsten Ford, Hunter Collins, Shelby, Josh Sandoval, Jena, Madison Sandoval, Jared, Kasey Collins, Andrew, Eddie Ford, James Baker, Hayden Collins and Cayson Collins; his great grandchildren, Landon Smith, Darwin Franklin Collins, IV, Chesney Smith, Tanner Collins, River Collins and Liam Collins; and his siblings, Martha Chaffin of Brooklet, Joann Fordham of Brooklet and Freddie Collins of Richmond Hill.
