He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Brantley Stokes, Sr. and Stella Hendrix Stokes; and his former wife Rebecca Wood Stokes. He is survived by: his brother Bruce; his sister-in-law Annette Stokes of Stilson; his daughter Melinda; his son-in-law Derrick Dukes of LaGrange, GA; his son Michael; his daughter-in-law Debbie Stokes of Cleveland, TN; and his grandchildren, Andrew Dukes (Vivian) of Statesboro, Rob Dukes (Brittany) of Marshall, TX, Kyle Stokes (Kelly) of Cleveland, TN and Amy Stokes (Nick Smith) of Atlanta. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
