He was predeceased by: his aunt Dolly Dyches (James Dyches); and his uncle Samuel Lee Glisson (Ann Glisson). He is survived by: his wife Joy Stewart Glisson; his daughters, Sarah Glisson and Taylor Kimbrell (George Kimbrell); his grandchildren, Kennedie Glisson and Hunter Miller; his parents, Jesse Doy Glisson (Elizabeth Glisson) and Susan Neely Burnsed; his siblings, Jesse Doyce Glisson, Missy Glisson, Francis Smith (Joe Smith) and Nancy Williams; his siblings-in-law, Jerry Stewart (Irene Stewart) and Jackie Thompson (Ralph Thompson); his aunts, Laura Lanier, Betty McKanna and Sandra Royal (Jerdie Royal); and his cousins, Ricky Glisson, Lee Glisson, Joe Glisson (Kristen Glisson), Lynn Seamans (Robbie Seamans), Michael Dyches, Carolyn Lanier, Kelvin Lanier, Cindy Lowe (Shannon Lowe), Mark McKanna and Mary Tankersly (Paul Tankersly). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
