She was predeceased by: her parents, Dan Daniel Smalls and Alma Smalls of Canadys, SC.; and her sons, PaDarryl Hazel and Demetrick "Deek" Hazel. She is survived by: her close friend Joseph Simmons of Springfield, GA.; her children, Cheryl Hazel of Walterboro, SC, Kimberly Simmons of Guyton, GA and Anthony Hazel (Lillie) of Kingstree, SC; and her brother Johnny Smalls (Patricia) of Connecticut. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
