He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Boyles Martin; his parents, Samuel Phillip Martin and Mary Williams Martin; his daughter-in-law Marian Martin; his siblings, Lee Martin, Daniel Martin, Lillian Holden, Ruby McCollough and Exie Mae Faircloth; and his sisters-in-law, Vertilee Martin and Ann Martin.
He is survived by: his children, George C. Martin, Jr. of Guyton, Barbara A. Premo (Walter) of Garden City, Annette M. Macy (Arnie) of Pooler, Judy L. Smith (Gerald) of Greensburg, KY and Nancy S. Collins (Alvie) of Springfield; and his brother David Martin. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
