He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Meeks and Georgia Brown; and his wife Mary Elaine Meeks. He is survived by: his children, Jane Cannon of Springfield, Marcia Green (Michael) of Ellabell, Dwayne Meeks (Bonnie) of Rincon, Melissa Shadley (Greg) of Guyton, David Meeks of Savannah and Daniel Meeks (Courtney) of Savannah. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
