He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Lee Hogwood and Mary Lois Weems Hogwood; his stepson Mike Grindle; and his brother Johnny Hogwood. He is survived by: his wife Dorsie Nell "Tootsie" Colquitt; his stepchildren, Judy Otting (Wayne), Kathy Otting (Charles), Summerville, Deborah Johnson, Chatsworth Grindle, Darryal Grindle and Aragon; his stepdaughter-in-law Deanna Grindle of Centre, AL; his sister Linda Amonds of Austell; his sister-in-law Marsha Hogwood of Dallas; his niece Leigh Ann Lomax (Keith); and his nephew Brian Hogwood. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
