He was predeceased by: his father Clarence I. Porter. He is survived by: his mother June Darlene Baker; his brothers, David Porter (Carolyn) and Mark Porter; his nieces, Melissa Porter Dowell (Jordan) and Alison Flynt; and his great-nephews, Flynt Greene and Lawson Greene.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimers Association http://www.act.alz.org.
