She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred T. Ziegler and Vera Louise Schmittler Ziegler; her daughter Erica Jones; and her great grandchild Roman Goodson. She is survived by: her husband George A. Verdon; her children, Brian Pitzer (Christina) of Keensburg, IL, Deric Jones of Newnan, Cherea Dixon (Warren) of Fayetteville and Amy Farris of Athens, TX; her siblings, Fredrick Thomas Ziegler (Cindy) of Virginia, Beverly Spencer (Chauncy) of Alapaha, GA, Vanessa Rister (Lee) of Carmi, IL and Bonnie Cronin of Alapaha; her children, Bill Verdon (Wendy), Chris Verdon (Ashley), Tracy Gehl (Len) and Wendy Kellat (John); her grandchildren, Lauren, Greyson, Laine, Paige, Shelby, Brooke, Brylee, Mathew, Kelli, Isaac, Elias, Erin, Sara, Sean, Drew, Chase, Destin Chris, Bailey, Ethan, Ian, Kelci, Nicole, Kylie and Caroline; and her great grandchildren, Emersyn, Lincoln, Jonas, Noah June, Jack, Ellie, Lily-Ann, Aubree, Olyvia, Aiden and Owen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
