He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley Mitchell and Mamie Mitchell; and his wife Sara Plunkett. He is survived by: his children, Phil Mitchell (Pam) of McKinney, TX and Susan Perry of Sharpsburg, GA; his grandson Joshua Mitchell (Leslie); and his great grandchildren, Charlotte Mitchell, Henry Mitchell and Allison McIntyre.
