She was predeceased by: her parents, George Elbert Martin and Sally Cordry Martin; her husband Quincy Smith; her children, William "Bill" Hurt and Brenda Fout; and her siblings, Susie Bell Martin, Doris Cook and James Ervin Martin.
She is survived by: her children, Lillian Bridges (Jimmy) of Sandersville, Peggy Storey (Bill) of Thomaston, Mack Smith, Sr. (Michelle) of Sandersville, Douglas Alan Smith (Ramona) of Tennille and Donna Lynn Smith (Ronnie Bridges) of Sandersville; and her sister Ella Mae Sweat of Tennille. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren; and many other nieces, nephews, family and friends.
