He was predeceased by: his parents, Earnest Marion Dalton, Sr. and Christine Tanner Dalton; and his siblings, Barney Dalton and Lois Dalton Yates. He is survived by: his wife Betty Porter Dalton; his children, Joanna Chandler (Ralph) of Davisboro, John Dalton (Danette) of Riddleville, Chris Dalton (Tracy) of Alexander City, AL and Louis Dalton (Christina) of Sandersville; his grandchildren, Anna Marie Palmer (Brent), Steven Chandler (Sarah), B. J. Dalton (Jessie), Megan Brooks (Kyle), Casey Teel (Austin), Daniel Dalton and Everlee Dalton; his great grandchildren, Kaylee Chandler, Maddlynn Chandler, Turner Chandler, Abbey Daniel, Dalton Palmer, Betsy Brooks, Maggie Brooks, Jed Dalton, Mazie Teel and Lilly Teel; his sister Rosalyn Dalton Lord of Sandersville; and his sister-in-law Velma Dalton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
